Free Estimates

We offer free, no-obligation estimates for all our services. Estimates are based on initial information provided and are subject to change after a thorough on-site inspection.

Final Pricing

Final pricing will be determined after an in-person inspection and assessment. We will provide a detailed quote outlining all costs before beginning any work. Additional charges may apply if unforeseen issues are discovered during service.

Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
• A deposit may be required for large projects
• Late payments may incur additional fees

Appointments

Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred date and time.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Weather and Emergencies

In cases of severe weather or other emergencies, we reserve the right to reschedule appointments for safety reasons. We will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative date.

To ensure safe and efficient service delivery, customers agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their chimney system and any known issues
• Ensure safe access to the chimney and work areas
• Remove valuable or fragile items from work areas
• Ensure pets are secured during service
• Be present or have an authorized representative present during service
• Notify us of any changes to contact information or property access

Our Coverage

Chimney Care MN is fully licensed and insured. We carry comprehensive liability insurance to protect our customers and their property.

Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to prevent damage, our liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing conditions or damage not disclosed during inspection
• Damage resulting from customer negligence or failure to follow recommendations
• Issues arising from deferred maintenance or neglect
• Consequential or indirect damages

All work is performed in accordance with:

• Minnesota state and local building codes
• National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards
• Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) best practices
• Industry safety standards and regulations

We reserve the right to refuse service or stop work if we determine that continuing would pose a safety risk.

Based on our inspections, we may provide recommendations for repairs, maintenance, or safety improvements. While we strongly encourage following these recommendations for your safety, the decision to proceed with any additional work is ultimately yours.

By declining recommended repairs or safety improvements, you acknowledge that:

• You understand the potential risks involved
• Chimney Care MN is not liable for any issues arising from declined recommendations
• Future service may be refused if safety concerns are not addressed

We offer emergency chimney services 24/7 for urgent situations such as chimney fires, structural failures, or immediate safety hazards.

• Emergency service rates apply to after-hours calls
• Response times vary based on availability and weather conditions
• In case of active fire, always call 911 first
