Protect Your Home with Professional Chimney Sweep and Inspection Services

Keep Your Home Safe with Regular Chimney Sweep and Maintenance

Our chimney sweep process is designed to ensure a thorough cleaning and inspection of your chimney.

A chimney is an architectural ventilation structure made of masonry, clay or metal that isolates hot toxic exhaust gases or smoke produced by a boiler, stove, furnace, incinerator, or fireplace from human living areas.

Nothing says home like a wood-burning fireplace. Gas-powered and gel fireplaces have their strong points, especially when it comes to ease of use. But only a real wood-burning fireplace, with its deep crackle and glowing orange embers, is capable of sparking romance and comfort.

Why Choose Us

Most homeowners choose to call in a chimney sweep, especially if the chimney has not been cleaned in a long time. Find a reputable chimney sweep company by asking friends and neighbors for their recommendations. Ask potential companies if they are certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) or if they are a member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG), both of which promote safety and professionalism within the chimney sweep industry.

CHIMNEY INSPECTIONS

An inspection is, most generally, an organized examination or formal evaluation exercise.

A chimney is an architectural ventilation structure made of masonry, clay or metal that isolates hot toxic exhaust gases or smoke produced by a boiler, stove, furnace, incinerator, or fireplace from human living areas.

FLUE CAPS REPAIR

A flue is a duct, pipe, or opening in a chimney for conveying exhaust gases from a fireplace, furnace, water heater, boiler, or generator to the outdoors. Historically the term flue meant the chimney itself.

Our chimney caps meet or exceed chimney industry standards and all applicable codes.

CROWN REPAIR

The crown is the very top part of your chimney, prevents precipitation from entering your home, and is usually made up of concrete. This is because mortar, another common building material, absorbs water into its pores, which causes deterioration and crumbling.

HEAT SHIELD REPAIR

In engineering, a heat shield is a component designed to protect an object or a human operator from being burnt or overheated by dissipating, reflecting, or absorbing heat.

HeatShield® is a chimney liner repair system that eliminates the hazards and draft problems caused by gaps, cracks and spalling in otherwise sound masonry chimneys.

CHIMNEY SWEEP

Chimney sweep should be done at least twice a year when burning wood or bituminous house coal and at least once a year when burning smokeless fuels.

During a cleaning, the sweep will use specialized rods and brushes to remove blockages, soot, and buildup from within the fireplace, chimney liner, chimney cap, and throat of the chimney.

CHIMNEY REPAIR & RESTORATION

There are several reasons why you should consider chimney repair and restoration. First, it can improve the overall safety of your home by addressing structural issues such as cracks or loose bricks that can cause the chimney to collapse.

Second, it can improve the efficiency of your fireplace or furnace by ensuring that the chimney is properly venting smoke and gases.

I’m someone who reads reviews and takes into consideration, other people’s experiences. After some investigation, choosing Chimney Care MN, became a no-brainer. After initially talking with Josh, I felt at ease thinking the choice was going to work out. It was the right choice and the information and work Josh provided..did work out. Wonderfully. We now have a clean and safeguarded chimney…with a cool cap!

The owner actually came out to do the job. He was very nice and loves to chat. He explained the type of chimney I have in good detail for me to understand. I have already scheduled for him to come next year.
